Since there have been 2 more major earthquakes which shook New Zealand and Japan.

In order to spruce up the level of preparedness of the Californian public and the various disaster recovery agencies such as FEMA, if there is a earthquake in California, a contingent containing members from the U.S.Red Cross and U.S.Geological Survey visited Chile and studied their responses to the destruction caused by the earthquake there.

Based on their study, they have come out with a report that contains the various processes that needs to be put in to place by the disaster recovery agencies, the volunteering agencies and the general Californian public.”
